About the website

SimpleWidgets.dev is a passion project that got out of hand, with the aim of contributing to the open-source community. The site features a number of published Flutter packages that can be used by developers worldwide.

Target audience

SimpleWidgets.dev is a site for other developers. The project started when I had a world map implementation in Flutter and wanted to share it with others. In the meantime, that one world map has grown into a package containing more than 137 country maps for free and easy implementation in a Flutter app. In addition, new packages have been added in the meantime.

The goal

The goal is for Digikompas to continue contributing to the open-source community by publishing simple solutions. These are solutions to problems that I, as a developer, regularly encounter myself. So that others can also benefit from it.

It’s also very nice when I get a message from a developer showing how one of the packages has contributed to his/her app.
